The Sarns 11160 is a portable dual heater/cooler that can deliver water up to 10.5 gallons per minute with a maximum pressure output of 11 PSI. This Sarns heater/cooler is used with blood heat exchangers. This unit has three modes of operation. It can be used in cooling mode, recirculation mode, or heating mode. While in cooling mode, the water is pumped through an ice-water tank. The output temperature of the water is continuously monitored by the thermometer. In recirculation mode, the water is pumped through the heater manifold, however, the heating element is not on. In heating mode, the water is pumped through the heater manifold and the heating element heats the water to any one of 4 preset temperatures.
